What will you contribute to the team?

  • Act as the Engineering and Project Integration Coordinator for various large-scale mission aircraft programs;
  • Communicate with Bombardier Defense's Program Management Office (PMO) and with the client's technical/PMO representatives and suppliers;
  • Create schedules, milestones, and budgets for technical activities;
  • Plan and control tasks to achieve project objectives; from technical activities to effort estimation, to task scheduling;
  • Plan and control financial aspects to achieve project objectives;
  • Lead and foster the involvement of multidisciplinary stakeholders to find solutions to technical obstacles, risks, and challenges;
  • Ensure that technical activities are aligned and that all contractual requirements are met according to schedules;
  • Coordinate engineering resources to execute the plan, identify risks, and facilitate problem resolution;
  • Communicate with stakeholders (client, management, team, resources, suppliers) to ensure strong alignment and coordination;
  • Be responsible for the submission of all deliverables;
  • Manage all technical requirement-related documents;
  • Manage the schedule, facilitate, and coordinate key step activities in support of the program/project (internal and external);
  • Be responsible for coordinating supplier activities;
  • Support and assist in the preparation and presentation of status updates, costs, and schedules to senior management through regular governance meetings.

How will you thrive in this role?

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or finance;
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in project management within the aerospace industry; technical engineering experience is an asset;
  • You have excellent understanding and relevant experience of the aircraft development environment, from design to certification, including, preferably, relevant experience in a flight test environment;
  • You demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, so you are able to communicate, align, and influence stakeholders;
  • You must possess strong communication skills to ensure clear, coherent, and timely sharing of information within the team and between functional areas;
  • You are bilingual in French and English;
  • You must be proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel to prepare and present presentations at various levels of the company and have MS Project expertise;
  • You have strong technical knowledge of aircraft, aeronautical systems, and special mission equipment (preferably);
  • You have knowledge of ITAR regulations and the Controlled Goods Program; previous experience in government and/or military flight operations would be considered an asset.
  • You may be required to travel and work long hours if necessary;
  • You are eligible to consult and handle ITAR/controlled goods material.
