We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong experience in SAP ECC testing (mandatory) and exposure to CPI/IS-based integration testing and SAP BTP applications. The role focuses on validating end-to-end business processes and integration flows between SAP and external systems, with the expected use of SAP Cloud ALM and/or SAP Solution Manager for test preparation, documentation, execution tracking, and defect management. The ideal candidate should also have experience in a project delivery environment and have supported at least two end-to-end SAP implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute functional tests for SAP ECC business processes (primary responsibility)
• Design and execute end-to-end integration test scenarios involving ECC, CPI, and external systems
• Validate data flows and consistency between integrated systems (ECC ↔ CPI ↔ external platforms)
• Perform interface integration testing (API, message-based flows, batch processing, and event-driven flows)
• Create and maintain test cases, regression suites, test data, and execution evidence using tools such as SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager
• Prepare test plans, document scenarios, and manage test execution status in SAP Cloud ALM and/or SAP Solution Manager to support SIT and UAT test preparation
• Support SIT, UAT, and production validation cycles
• Identify, record, and track defects with clear root cause analysis, ensuring appropriate traceability via SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, or equivalent defect tracking tools
• Collaborate closely with business analysts and functional teams to identify, refine, and validate end-to-end test scenarios based on business processes and requirements
• Work closely with development and integration teams to understand interfaces and dependencies
• Contribute to API and integration test automation, as applicable

Requirements

• Strong practical experience in SAP ECC testing/QA (mandatory)
• Proven experience in SAP integration testing and end-to-end workflows
• Experience in a project delivery environment, with participation in at least two end-to-end SAP implementations
• Strong understanding of ECC functional processes and data flows
• Experience with integration testing concepts (API, middleware, message flows)
• Practical familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools, preferably SAP Cloud ALM and/or SAP Solution Manager
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Assets
• Experience in SAP CPI (Integration Suite) testing – focus on validating iFlows, interfaces, and data
• Experience in SAP BTP application testing – App Dev / Integration Suite
• Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman or similar)
• Experience with test automation (API or UI level)
• Extensive experience with SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager for test planning, documentation, execution tracking, and traceability

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of questioning gaps in test coverage
