Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Participate in functional and technical requirements analysis.
  • Design, develop, and configure Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter).
  • Customize features using Gosu, Java, and Guidewire tools.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems (REST API, SOAP, Web Services, messaging).
  • Perform unit testing and contribute to integration testing.
  • Participate in code reviews and apply best development practices.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Contribute to migration, upgrade, and optimization activities of Guidewire platforms.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, Scrum Masters, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of development processes.

Qualifications Sought

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.

Experience

  • 3 to 8 years of software development experience.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire.
  • Significant experience with the Guidewire suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
  • Experience in the insurance claims sector (valuable asset).
  • Participation in Guidewire implementation or modernization projects.
