Financial Analyst

Awarded as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies since 2019, CASA continues to grow and is currently seeking an Experienced Financial Analyst to join our team in Repentigny.

Reporting to the Controller, the incumbent of this position will be responsible for transforming financial data into decision-making tools for the executive team.

Hours

• 40 hours per week with the possibility of having one afternoon off every two Fridays

Responsibilities

• Produce and analyze various financial performance reports (profitability, liquidity, ratios)
• Develop financial forecasts and budgets
• Model different financial scenarios
• Participate in the evaluation of investments, projects, or acquisitions
• Produce strategic reports for the executive team
• Monitor market trends and financial risks
• Actively participate in year-end and external audit activities
• Perform accounting tasks such as bank reconciliation, payroll, billing for certain client files, and end-of-month, inter-company, and cost of goods sold analyses
• Prepare monthly commission reports for sales representatives
• Provide support to accounts payable
• Perform any other tasks related to the position

Qualifications

• DEC in finance, accounting, economics, or administration
• 3 to 5 years of experience in advanced financial analysis and knowledge of the manufacturing industry
• Financial modeling (advanced Excel, Power BI, etc.) and ability to communicate complex information to decision-makers
• Experience working with a manufacturing ERP system (Epicor, IPSO, or other)
• Proactivity, autonomy, diligence, professional rigor, discretion
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Synthesis and analytical thinking, critical and strategic thinking
• Team spirit, sense of priorities, and ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, to ensure clear and regular communication with other departments and external stakeholders, including anglophones
