Description

Our firm, founded over 30 years ago and constantly growing, is looking for a CPA or bachelor's degree holder to join our team. We are proud to offer a dynamic and stimulating work environment where the candidate can thrive with us and take on many interesting challenges. We have a diverse client base that allows our staff to always develop their skills and deepen their knowledge.

We are located in Prévost in the Laurentians, less than 30 minutes from Laval or 45 minutes from Montreal, and we adhere to our environment by offering a work environment focused on quality of life with flexible hours and a summer schedule of 4 days a week. We have collective health insurance, a collective REER, and a collective RPDB with employer contributions of 4% of salary. We offer training and professional fees for CPA holders.

We promote quality in our files and are looking for a candidate with in-depth knowledge of accounting standards and presentation, especially someone who loves well-done work while maintaining good efficiency in their assignments.

The chosen person will primarily have the following tasks: performing audit and compilation assignments of financial statements, preparing tax returns for corporations, individuals, and trusts. The person may be required to review or supervise staff.

The ideal candidate must have experience in an accounting firm. They should be comfortable with standard accounting software, financial statement preparation software (Caseware / Caseview), corporate, trust, and individual tax returns (Taxprep), and Office suite tools, particularly Excel. The CPA title is not mandatory if the candidate has equivalent experience.

Ideally, the position is full-time, but we are open to receiving applications from people seeking a 3-4 day per week position.

Finally, our firm offers advancement opportunities to match the candidate's ambitions, including an associate succession plan if the candidate wishes to progress with us and build their career.
