Position Summary
As the Plant Controller, you will play a key strategic role within the management team, contributing to maximizing profitability, strengthening financial performance, and guiding the plant toward achieving its goals. You will combine your analytical expertise with your business acumen to influence decisions that directly impact operations, productivity, and long-term growth.

Your Responsibilities
- Analyze and anticipate manufacturing performance variances to support informed decision-making
- Collaborate with Plant Management to identify productivity levers and achieve budgetary goals
- Lead and coordinate plant-wide budgeting and financial forecasting processes
- Provide financial oversight for physical inventory counts and ensure stock accuracy
- Maintain reliable financial records (assets, liabilities, and transactions) in accordance with corporate standards
- Develop and maintain cost standards for all products manufactured
- Coordinate the annual Capital Budget, including profitability analysis and expenditure tracking
- Ensure rigorous monthly financial closings and accurate reporting within established deadlines
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring compliance and availability of information
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the plant's overall performance through financial and operational initiatives
Your Value Added
- Bachelor's degree in a related field — Accounting preferred
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or controlling
- Good level of English is required (due to the presence of part of the team in Ontario and the United States, which requires fluent communication)
- Strong collaboration skills and a team-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CGMA, or CMA

- Support internal and external audits
- Take on additional responsibilities that help strengthen plant performance
