Accounting Assistant

Under the supervision of the Production Controller, you will participate in the company's and its subsidiaries' daily accounting operations. You will contribute to ensuring rigorous management of vendor accounts, government rebates, and various corporate financial operations, while providing occasional support to the production accounting team.

You will work in collaboration with various departments to ensure the accuracy of financial information and compliance with deadlines.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Account and make payments for vendor accounts for all corporate entities;
• Prepare and submit monthly government reports and rebates (GST, QST, and other applicable rebates);
• Verify, account, and reconcile the company's monthly credit card reports, then allocate expenses to the relevant productions;
• Participate in reconciliations and tracking of certain routine accounting operations;
• Provide support to production accountants as needed by the team;
• Perform any other tasks related to the position.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a DEC, AEC, or DEP in accounting;
• Have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of the TRT accounting software;
• Proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written;
• Good knowledge of Excel;
• Sense of organization and ability to handle multiple files simultaneously;
• Rigor and attention to detail;
• Team spirit and service-oriented mindset.
