Description

Rémabec Group (head office in La Tuque) is currently looking for a candidate to fill a position as an Environment and OHS Coordinator in the manufacturing sector. Under the supervision of the Environment and OHS Director, the Coordinator acts as an expert advisor to the factories and manufacturing facilities. They ensure the environmental compliance of activities, support managers in applying regulatory requirements, and contribute to the continuous improvement of environmental practices and OHS.

Here are the tasks to be performed by the candidate:

  • Ensure the compliance of manufacturing facilities with laws, regulations, permits, and authorization certificates;
  • Conduct regulatory monitoring and recommend necessary adjustments;
  • Prepare environmental authorization requests and produce or coordinate the required regulatory declarations;
  • Advise managers on environmental issues and assess risks associated with activities;
  • Participate in improvement, expansion, or modification projects of facilities;
  • Plan and conduct environmental audits, then follow up on non-compliance and corrective action plans;
