... API and Integration designs, develops, secures, and supports APIs and integration services across Collabria's technological ecosystem. This role is responsible for the entire lifecycle of API engineering, from design and documentation to deployment, monitoring, consumer integration, and production support. The incumbent works directly with internal teams, vendors, and credit union partners to make integration services easy to discover, reliable, and simple to consume. Specifically, you will be tasked with:
- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining REST APIs and integration services for internal applications, credit union partners, vendors, and digital channels
- Managing API versioning, documentation, decommissioning, and retirement, ensuring consumers receive clear guidance on changes and integrations
- Implementing reusable API models and contributing to the roadmap, error handling mechanisms, validation, performance control, and relevant operational telemetry
- Configuring and administering Azure API Management policies, including products, subscriptions, traffic throttling mechanisms, analytics, and access controls
- Implementing OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT token validation, and encryption practices, certificate, and secret management, while participating in security reviews, vulnerability remediation, and audit evidence preparation for APIs and integrations
- Developing integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, webhooks, and appropriate enterprise integration patterns. This includes integrations with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, ITSM platforms, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure services
- Designing and modernizing resilient workflows with retry and restart mechanisms, including the use of Terraform, dead-letter queue management, and reconciliation processes as required
- Leading the technical integration process for credit unions and external partners, including credential, certificate, connectivity, testing, and production readiness coordination
- Monitoring API health and usage, investigating errors, latency, failed messages, and issues reported by partners, while participating in incident management, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Collaborating with the DevOps team to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring application and infrastructure changes are coordinated within production management and change processes

What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum of six years of experience in API development, integration, or software engineering, including production support
- Please note that other combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered
- French language proficiency required
- Advanced intermediate English proficiency due to the nature of tasks, work tools, or interactions with English-speaking partners, members, or clients
- Expertise with Azure integration services, REST APIs, authentication standards, and modern software development practices
- Experience with external partners or in the financial services sector
- Proficiency in C#/.NET and/or TypeScript/JavaScript, JSON, XML, Git, and automated testing
- Knowledge of Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, and App Services
- Knowledge of REST, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and certificate-based integration
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and API observability
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Terraform-managed infrastructure, and DevSecOps practices
