Operational Excellence & Digital Transformation Consultant

DESCRIPTION

GLM Conseil is seeking a versatile consultant capable of combining operational excellence and digital transformation to support its clients in the success of their strategic projects and the maximization of their overall performance. In this key role, you will oversee both the optimization of processes, the dissemination of a culture of continuous improvement, and the digital modernization of organizations.

Your main responsibilities

Organizational and Digital Diagnostics

• Analyze the performance of organizations, the functioning of their teams, and their digital maturity.
• Evaluate processes, workflows, organizational structure, technological systems, and information architecture.
• Identify strengths, weaknesses, and optimization opportunities, both operational and technological, and formulate tailored recommendations aligned with strategic objectives and digital transformation.

Development and Implementation of Transformation Projects

• Develop, plan, and manage operational excellence projects (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile) as well as digital transformation plans and the integration of technological solutions (Industry 4.0, collaborative tools, automation...).
• Coordinate the execution of digital and operational initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Structure, prioritize, and manage project portfolios to maximize value creation and achieve results.

Change Management and Skills Development

• Design and implement robust change management strategies to support the sustainable adoption of new practices and technologies.
• Train and coach managers, leaders, and teams on continuous improvement principles, digital tools, and industry best practices.
• Foster an organizational culture that integrates both operational performance and digital innovation.

Tracking, Measurement, and Sustainability of Transformations

• Deploy key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress, efficiency, and the impact of transformation initiatives.
• Regularly audit operational and technological processes to ensure their efficiency and long-term adaptation.
• Produce clear follow-up reports tailored to steering committees and management.
• Required Qualifications
• University degree in management, organizational development, engineering, administration, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in operational excellence, digital transformation, or organizational development.
• Experience in consulting services.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, leading change, and integrating digital solutions (Industry 4.0, collaborative tools, ERP systems, or similar).
• Excellent command of French, both spoken and written; functional English.
• Demonstrate integrity and exemplary professionalism.
• Be mobile and open to travel throughout Quebec.
