About the Position

Reporting to the Production Supervisor - Gas Network, the Production Coordinator is responsible for participating in prioritizing, planning, scheduling, and tracking repairs and maintenance of equipment. They must ensure their work is carried out in compliance with laws, policies, directives, health and safety, environmental, collective agreement, and in-force procedures and guidelines at the Horne Smelter.

With knowledge of operations and equipment in the sector, they bridge the gap between maintenance supervisors, planners, and operational supervisors to ensure equipment release and maintenance work is carried out to minimize production losses and achieve maintenance objectives. They also connect production, maintenance, plant engineering, and various services such as engineering, procurement, prevention, and hygiene. As a member of the organization, you will participate in the continuous and sustainable improvement of your service and ensure decisions and actions align with business objectives.

Desired Profile:

The candidate must hold a college or university degree in a field related to the industry. They should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and be comfortable with Microsoft Office software.
