Your Tasks

As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be at the heart of the action on the shop floor, where matter takes shape.

Your playing field:

• Install, adjust, assemble, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in the conversion department
• Respond to equipment downtime
• Diagnose problems to resolve them and ensure effective operation
• Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance of equipment
• Transfer relevant information from the shift to the next shift's mechanic to improve machine performance
• Ensure optimal operational status of all production equipment
• Perform other related tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of your department and the company

The Strengths of an Electromechanical Technician

• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position or have worked in the paper and pulp industry (asset)
• You have completed the DEP in automated systems electromechanical or the equivalent diploma from MIFI
• You hold your electricity license (License CÉ) and/or your restricted certificate for apparatus connection (asset)
• Bilingualism (French/English - asset)
