Aramark is looking for a Chef at Manic-5

Aramark offers a 14/14 work schedule rotation.

The employee is fed, housed in individual rooms, and provided with a washer and dryer.

Aramark provides a transportation allowance and the most competitive collective insurance.

Position: 1st and 3rd Chef

• Location: Manic-5
• Salary: Between $22.41 and $26.26, depending on the position held

Job Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare various foods following production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Prepare the daily menu
• Manage kitchen activities (staff, inventory, orders as needed)
• Be able to meet operational needs
• Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment. Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling foods.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, consumers, clients, colleagues, etc.
• Ensure the quality of food services and customer satisfaction
• Clean your work area

Qualifications

• A culinary diploma or equivalent experience is an asset
• 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or restaurant work is required
• Strong culinary background is an asset
• Experience in remote camps is an asset
• MAPAQ certification is an asset
• Ensure that hygiene and sanitation programs are followed.
• Follow established safety regulations
