What We Want

Under the direction of the Technical Services Manager, the Swimming Pool Maintenance Attendant is responsible for the quality of the water and maintenance of the Nordic pools to achieve superior facilities that meet the needs of the clientele.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure the proper functioning of the pool systems (filtration, heating, air conditioning, controls, etc.) and maintain preventive maintenance;
  • Perform the required calibration, adjustment, modification, and programming of the various pool controls;
  • Perform a daily check of the equipment and installations of the water basins (pressures, filters, lights, temperatures, water, oil, chemical, and cleaning product levels, etc.);
  • Perform any other related tasks requested by your immediate supervisor or required by your duties.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma;
  • Two years of experience in the field of water treatment;
  • CPO certification would be considered an asset;
  • Occupational health and safety training and SIMDUT would be considered assets;
  • Ability to perform manual and technical work;
  • Able to work according to a variable schedule;
  • Ability to lift loads of 50lbs (22.5kg) easily;
  • Ability to work in a noisy, hot, and/or cold environment outdoors.

According to the prevailing wage scale plus the social benefits related to the Nordik Spa Village.

Working Hours

Full-time: Variable schedule, day/night, weekdays and weekends.
