- Practicing the nine medical activities authorized according to your specialization;
- Diagnosing diseases;
- Prescribing diagnostic tests;

- Essential qualifications (Health and Social Services requirements):
- Licence from the Order of Nurses and Nurse Practitioners of Québec;
- University second-cycle diploma allowing the practice of the IPS role and a specialist certificate issued by the OIIQ.
