  • Your role as an Indispensable:

Under the supervision of the Regional Health and Compliance Director, you will play a key role in planning, organizing, and managing health services and compliance.

  • Supervise and mentor the health services team (nursing aides and resident aides), including task allocation and work route reviews
  • Ensure the quality, continuity, and continuous provision of health services to residents
  • Ensure compliance with legal documents and practices according to applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards
  • Contribute to risk management (medication, falls, infections) and continuous service improvement, including complaint analysis and recommendation formulation
  • Assist in recruiting for the health services department
  • Establish and follow up on work routes
  • Collaborate with the health services team, mentor resident aides, and support colleagues to ensure a safe environment and quality health services.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Member in good standing of the OIIAQ or OIIQ (mandatory)
  • Up-to-date training in RCR, first aid, and PDSP (mandatory)
  • Valid driver's license (mandatory)
  • Reliable car for travel (mandatory)
  • Experience in personnel management and geriatric care is an asset
  • Good knowledge of laws, regulations, and professional standards applicable to private elderly residences
  • Ability to stay away from home for an indeterminate period of time
