Summary of Responsibilities

Provide daily secure support to residents, support their overall well-being, contribute to maintenance tasks and meal services, while ensuring good communication and coordination with the health services team.

Your role as an Indispensable:

Under the supervision of the Regional Health and Compliance Director and indirectly under the supervision of the Health Services Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in different residences across Quebec.

  • Ensure the hygiene, personal care services, comfort, and safety of residents, while respecting the residence standards
  • Perform maintenance tasks and participate in meal services
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team and interveners to ensure optimal health services follow-up
  • Communicate health and behavior information about residents to the auxiliary nurse, health services coordinator, public health network interveners, and following shifts
  • Respond to emergency calls and apply predetermined trajectories
  • Administer medications according to established procedures
  • Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of equipment and materials used in personal care services for residents

Requirements

  • APRPA training or an equivalent recognized training (mandatory)
  • Up-to-date certifications in RCR, PDSP, and Competency 6 (Law 90) (mandatory)
  • Valid driver's license (mandatory)
  • Reliable car for travel (mandatory)
