Your Benefits

- Hourly wage of $34.38/h, up to $41.64/h depending on experience
- Full-time employment with guaranteed hours, for job stability
- Day shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and night and weekend shifts, rotating in the team, approximately 1 week out of 7

Your Tasks
As an Electrotechnician, you will be at the heart of action on the floor, where matter takes shape.
Your playing field:
- Maintain, repair, improve, and develop factory equipment
- Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance of equipment and intervene during equipment downtime
- Design and implement various automation projects
- Program automates (mainly Allen Bradley)
- Calibrate and install instrumentation related to our various equipment (paper machine)
- Design and update technical drawings on AutoCAD
- Assemble electrical panels for various applications
- Diagnose problems to resolve them and ensure efficient operation
The Strengths of an Electrotechnician
- You are naturally at home in this role if:
- You have completed a DEC in: electrodynamics, electrical engineering techniques (Automation and Control), industrial engineering technologies, industrial electronics, and/or an AEC in instrumentation & control or the equivalent of a MIFI diploma
- You have 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar role
- You hold your electricity license (License CE), or are in the process of obtaining it (asset)
- You have a good analytical sense, for problem-solving and the ability to make decisions
- Health and safety are a priority for you.
- You enjoy varied work and teamwork.
- You show resourcefulness and initiative.
- You have a positive and collaborative attitude.
- You want to learn - training is offered.
- You are bilingual (French/English) - asset
