Your Tasks

As an Electrotechnician, you will be at the heart of action on the floor, where matter takes shape.

Your playing field:

• Maintain, repair, improve, and develop factory equipment
• Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance of equipment and intervene during equipment downtime
• Design and implement various automation projects
• Program automates (mainly Allen Bradley)
• Calibrate and install instrumentation related to our various equipment (paper machine)
• Design and update technical drawings on AutoCAD
• Assemble electrical panels for various applications
• Diagnose problems to resolve them and ensure efficient operation

The Strengths of an Electrotechnician

• You are naturally at home in this role if:
• You have completed a DEC in: electrodynamics, electrical engineering techniques (Automation and Control), industrial engineering technologies, industrial electronics, and/or an AEC in instrumentation & control or the equivalent of a MIFI diploma
• You have 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar role
• You hold your electricity license (License CE), or are in the process of obtaining it (asset)
• You have a good analytical sense, for problem-solving and the ability to make decisions
• Health and safety are a priority for you.
• You enjoy varied work and teamwork.
• You show resourcefulness and initiative.
• You have a positive and collaborative attitude.
• You want to learn - training is offered.
• You are bilingual (French/English) - asset
