The Parts Counter Clerk works in a fast-paced retail environment to provide friendly and courteous service to customers. The role involves constant interaction with customers and external suppliers using an automated parts lookup system.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and thank customers in a friendly manner, whether by phone or in person.
• Perform parts ordering and procurement from authorized suppliers.
• Process returns, warranties, and consigned items as needed.
• Recommend related items to customers so they can spread out with everything they need.
• Check and fill batteries, check starters and alternators.
• Ensure that retail-related tasks are performed efficiently (e.g., stocking, labeling, "face," cleaning, etc.).
• Check empty locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.

Requirements/Competencies

• No experience required! – We will provide all the training you need! You just need to be passionate about cars.
• Ability to work shifts (day, evening, weekend, and holidays).
• Friendly and customer-focused.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and transporting merchandise, using a ladder, performing twists, turning, and reaching for objects.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to problem-solve, adapt, and handle difficult situations and make decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma (asset).
