The Customer Service Representative works directly with customers and employees. They respond to requests, handle returns and exchanges of items, and sales transactions efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, assist, and thank customers in a friendly manner, whether by phone or in person.
• Address, handle, and respond to customer questions, concerns, and requests, whether by phone or in person.
• Handle returns and exchanges.
• Use the cash register, computer, and printer.
• Maintain the customer service area.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements/Skills

• Customer service experience
• Ability to work shifts (day, evening, weekend, and holidays)
• Friendly and customer-focused
• Ability to find solutions to problems, adapt, and handle difficult situations and make decisions
• Ability to perform physical efforts, including standing/walking for 8 hours while frequently lifting and transporting merchandise, using a ladder, performing twists, turning, and reaching for objects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Ability to use a cash register (asset)
