Local Marketing Consultant

Laval, QC - Hybrid (2 days in office)

Uniban Canada/Driven Glass Canada is a proud member of Driven Brands™, representing the glass industry in Canada and part of the organization’s franchise division. Our Canadian team is looking for a Local Marketing Consultant to support and execute a variety of marketing projects simultaneously. Reporting to the Sr Director of Marketing, the Local Marketing Consultant will work closely with the Sr Marketing Consultant and will be responsible for developing and implementing local marketing tactics for the VitroPlus and Docteur du Pare-Brise brands in Quebec, and UniglassPlus in English Canada, with the goal of increasing store visibility in their markets and supporting their business objectives. You will bring the brand to life locally to help ensure franchisee success across the country.

Main Responsibilities:

Franchisee service and advisory role

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with franchisees
  • Support shops in implementing their local marketing initiatives
  • Present plans, results, and recommendations to franchisees and their teams
  • Identify improvement opportunities and propose solutions tailored to shop needs
  • Demonstrate appropriate knowledge and understanding of the products and services offered by the various brands
  • Draft communications for franchisees and the networks

New shop management

  • Plan and coordinate marketing activities related to new shop openings
  • Closely monitor new shops following their opening with respect to performance and marketing needs

Local digital marketing management

  • Oversee the performance of local digital initiatives
  • Develop and coordinate local campaigns with agencies
  • Understand and be able to explain various digital marketing tactics, such as SEO and SEM
  • Manage adherence to local campaign budgets as well as monthly billing
  • Coordinate and optimize the various digital platforms, including websites, Driven Dash, Google profiles, and more

Customer experience

  • Ensure brand consistency between campaigns and in-shop execution, such as marketing kits and sales support tools
  • Adapt national and provincial campaigns at the local level
  • Contribute to initiatives related to online reputation and customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with the Operations team to optimize the presence of products, services, and promotions at the point of sale

Special projects

  • Actively participate in the planning and successful execution of the annual convention and network events
  • Present developed marketing programs and market analyses to the Operations team and franchisees
  • Contribute to various strategic marketing projects
  • Manage and update the internal communications site for franchisees
  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Consultant and Graphic Designer, as well as the Senior Director, Marketing

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • Minimum of three years of marketing experience, ideally with digital experience
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, is essential
  • Knowledge of digital and traditional marketing, content marketing, and social media, including Facebook and Instagram
  • Knowledge of Mailchimp, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Optimistic and collaborative work style with all stakeholders, including the Marketing team, Operations team, senior leadership team, and franchisees
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and rigor
  • Strong team player
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry is an asset
