Technician/Technician Design – Drafter, Water Treatment and Process Mechanics

You will have the chance to work on several diverse and multidisciplinary projects (Water Treatment, Process Mechanics, Instrumentation, and others).

More specifically, your role will consist of:

• Participating in the preparation of drawings and 3D modeling for projects in the field of water treatment and process mechanics;
• Conducting surveys of existing installations;
• Assisting engineers in their design tasks for plans, estimates, and studies using CDAO tools;
• Collaborating in interdisciplinary coordination during the design of plans.

You will also have the opportunity to choose to work in a hybrid mode (in-person/remote work).

Your Background

Your application will catch our attention if you possess the following skills and experience:

• A college diploma (AEC/DEP) in industrial drawing or building/modeling 3D or (DEC) in civil or mechanical engineering;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position;
• Good knowledge of MS Office suite, AutoCAD, and REVIT;
• Prefer an environment where autonomy is valued and promoted;
• Possess excellent relational skills and enjoy teamwork;
• Have very good analytical and problem-solving skills, knowing how to establish priorities;
• Hold the Health and Safety General Certificate for Construction Sites (ASP construction) (asset);
• Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a car.

Salary Transparency: Depending on the location of work, salary scales are provided for advertised positions when required by salary transparency laws. Please note, however, that the final salary is negotiated based on the location of work, as well as the candidate's education, qualifications, and experience. At Stantec, some positions are eligible for bonuses or incentives. The salary established for a part-time position is calculated pro-rata based on the agreed number of weekly working hours.
