Maintenance Assistant

In collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor and the Residence Director, the Maintenance Assistant carries out building maintenance work according to established standards as well as the required services in the apartments and common areas.

• As a Maintenance Assistant, you will have the opportunity to:
• Perform building maintenance and repair work, as well as maintenance and repairs to equipment and apartments, according to current maintenance and safety standards.
• Receive requests for apartment maintenance and preparation and carry them out according to the required specifications.
• Collaborate on tasks related to equipment and building inspections.
• Any other related tasks.

Experience and training

• 6 months of experience in building maintenance or related experience (an asset).
• Knowledge of construction, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and building maintenance.
• Ability to lift or push heavy objects.
• Ability to communicate and work in a team.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written French.
• Energetic, smiling, and courteous.
