In this role as Electromechanical Operations Manager within Pomerleau's Buildings division, you will manage various activities and deadlines to meet the needs of the client, the team, and the project. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - you will have a significant impact on our projects by developing a talented team while remaining closely involved in your individual projects.

What you will do

  • Strategically support the project team by planning and coordinating all mechanical and electrical activities on-site, while keeping in mind compliance with specifications, requirements, and codes;
  • Utilize your proactive problem-solving skills to coordinate all relevant drawings and information to eliminate interference issues;
  • Use your passion for organization to keep up-to-date with schedule requirements and priorities, mechanical and electrical information requests, shop drawings, contracts, and project close-out documents;
  • Share your mechanical and electrical expertise with team members, business partners, consultants, and clients;
  • Be the go-to person for organizing and facilitating mechanical and electrical coordination and interference meetings;
  • Compile and complete enterprise-wide project reports.
  • This role is for you if you have
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical and electrical disciplines within the construction sector.
  • A university degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a combination of studies and experience in the sector.
  • Proven experience in mechanical and electrical coordination within a team.
