We are looking for a technically strong and fashion-forward Assistant Fashion Designer to play a key hands-on role in our design process. If you are detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in both the technical and creative sides of fashion — we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed tech packs, flat sketches, and collection boards
- Receive, measure, and evaluate samples against specifications, flagging discrepancies and following up directly with overseas suppliers
- Develop accessory files for all styles including hangtags, zippers, trims, and logos
- Manage and organize all aspects of sample tracking across seasonal collections
- Assist in the preparation of colors, styles, and collections each season
- Design graphics and wordmarks for application across styles
- Contribute styling ideas and outfit inspirations for the marketing department
- Support photoshoots and styling, ensuring brand consistency throughout
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma in Fashion Design or related field
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in fashion design
- Strong technical skills — tech pack creation, flat sketches, and garment specifications
- Experience communicating directly with overseas factories and suppliers is a strong asset
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine fashion sense and ability to put together stylish, on-brand looks
- Experience with photoshoots and styling is a strong asset
- Experience in Figma or AI design tools is considered an asset
- Ability to collaborate with co-workers
