We are looking for positive and motivated car enthusiasts to join our team as store delivery drivers. Those in this position will need to maintain excellent relationships with our customers.

ABOUT THE POSITION
This is an entry-level store position supporting the delivery of auto parts to our valuable commercial clients. The position also requires assistance with various tasks and inventory taking at the store.
Here is a list of the position's responsibilities: Safely deliver auto parts to our valuable commercial clients.
Pick and gather parts for customer orders.
Pick up returns and cores from customers.
Deliver weekly or monthly circulars.
Receive daily payments for current accounts.
Perform other tasks, including cleaning the premises, restocking the store, and loading trucks.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Hold a valid driver's license. Have at least 3 years of driving experience and maintain a good driving record.
Lift 23 kg (50 lb).
Be detail-oriented. Be able to read invoices, understand instructions, and pick parts correctly. Possess excellent driving skills and a good sense of direction.
Be passionate about customer service. Have a natural disposition to provide exceptional service at all times and build lasting relationships with customers, other employees, management, etc.
Demonstrate team spirit. Commit to working as a team, show a positive and friendly attitude, and promote a safe work environment.
Show an interest in the automotive industry. Be willing to learn about auto parts and the point-of-sale system.
Demonstrate autonomy and reliability in task execution. Use equipment and vehicles responsibly.
Physical Requirements: The details of this section describe the physical requirements necessary for the employee to successfully perform the essential tasks of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the team member will primarily be called upon to drive a vehicle, walk, stand, or lift objects. The team member must be able to speak, hear, use their hands and fingers to manipulate or touch objects, reach with their hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The team member will frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to 23 kg (50 lb). This position requires good near and far vision, the ability to distinguish colors, and good depth perception.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be called upon to drive a vehicle from the store and work inside.

Position Responsibilities
- Pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers
- Pick up returns and cores
- Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
- Daily collection of credit accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
- Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
- Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot
- General stocking including truck stocking, back stock, and cycle counts
- Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
- Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
- Other duties as assigned

Essential Job Skills Necessary for Success as a Driver
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers, and leadership
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
- Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques
Prior Experience that Sets a Driver up for Success
- Automotive parts experience is preferred
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is usually working inside; however, they will occasionally be outside and exposed to various weather conditions while performing such tasks as installing batteries and wiper blades. The employee is also occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; explosives; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
