The Sales Associate provides an effective and friendly customer service by going out to meet customers to assess their needs and advise them. He has in-depth knowledge of the products and various departments and services, provides information on the features of the products and knows the related products in order to sell entire projects. In his assigned department or service, he knows how to welcome all customers, create a bond with them and end the interactions with thanks. He can also provide basic service in neighboring departments and services. The Sales Associate focuses on customer service, and is committed to defining the needs of customers and responding to them.
Main Responsibilities: Customer Satisfaction

Actively seek out customers throughout the store and guide them to the appropriate merchandise, regardless of department or service.
Ask open-ended questions about the customer's projects to determine their level of expertise and needs.
Promote the services offered, such as Special Services, Rental, Pro Counter and Pro Service, and know how to recommend them.
Sales Stimulation
Discuss the options available (good, better, best) and suggest articles or services from other departments or services that the customer might need.
Inform the customer about the entire project.
Take advantage of the Act policy if necessary to satisfy the customer.
Daily shelf maintenance: all products must be labeled, equipped with the proper display items and clean.
Skill and Knowledge Development
Maintain good knowledge of all products in his department or service and neighboring departments and services.
Proactively seek to know all products and services well.
Safety Maintenance
Respect all policies and procedures, including those related to loss prevention.

Travel Requirements: No travel requirements.
Physical Requirements: Bend, stretch and turn; lift, push, pull and move items.
Working Conditions: Variable schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
The warehouse may be dusty and noisy.
The doors are often open, which can cause air currents and temperature changes inside.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience: One or two years of experience in the retail sector or in a trade, an asset.
