About the Position

We are looking for a Warehouse, Receiving, and Inventory Manager to oversee all warehouse, logistics, and inventory management operations. Reporting to the Operations Director, this person will play a key role in optimizing receiving and shipping activities, inventory accuracy, and team development.

The successful candidate will ensure the efficiency of material flows, stock reliability, operational safety, and continuous process improvement to support the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Operations Management

• Supervise daily receiving, shipping, packaging, and loading/unloading operations.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and material flow organization.
• Establish, document, and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and operational objectives.

Inventory Control and Governance

• Ensure physical stock accuracy against system data.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct cyclic and quarterly inventories.
• Analyze inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective measures.
• Maintain constant visibility of critical inventories and ensure their reliability.
• Produce and track performance indicators related to inventory management.

Human Resources Management

• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse personnel, including order pickers.
• Schedule work hours and ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Foster skill development and team versatility.
• Promote a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Logistics and Transportation

• Coordinate activities with carriers and logistics partners.
• Optimize delivery and shipping planning to ensure effective service.
• Manage logistics documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Quickly resolve transportation and delivery issues.

Health, Safety, and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards in all warehouse operations.
• Oversee and maintain equipment, including forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Actively participate in safety and compliance improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in warehouse/logistics management.
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing inventory.
• Previous experience in team supervision.
• Knowledge of industrial or warehouse health and safety standards.
• Priority management in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers.
• Change management and process improvement.
• Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written (English is required due to our extensive activities across Canada and the United States).
