Polisher

IAI, founded in 1947, specializes in the production of high-quality stainless steel process and handling technologies.

Under the supervision of the supervisor, the person holding this position will be primarily responsible for providing the steps and work required to achieve the required surface finishes for projects. Polishers typically perform one of the last steps before delivery. They must be vigilant about the quality of the finished product.

Tasks

• Perform all grinding, deburring, sanding, and polishing work according to established methods;
• Finish damaged parts or devices;
• Sand and polish joints using electric tools;
• Cut various pieces with grinders;
• Rebuild grinding wheels;
• Clean pieces at the end of work;
• Ensure the use of compliant and well-maintained abrasive products.

Requirements

• A high school diploma (DES);
• 1 to 3 years of experience in similar roles;
• Ability to read blueprints;
• Knowledge of tools and materials;
• Knowledge of stainless steel;
• Experience in the food industry (asset);
• ASP construction card (asset).
• French, spoken and written.
