As a Business Intelligence (BI) Functional Analyst, you will serve as the essential bridge between the business operations' needs and their implementation in our data platforms. You will be called upon to act as an expert to leverage strategic information.

You will analyze and document the company's specific data intelligence needs, transforming business unit requirements into clear functional specifications. Additionally, you will address the development BI team's questions to clarify the structure and meaning of source data. A significant portion of your work will involve documenting data extraction processes (ETL/ELT), using appropriate methodologies to ensure traceability. Finally, you will participate in data cleaning, transformation, and validation, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all migrated and used data. Obviously, the quality of this position will reside in the challenging tasks you will face and solve in collaboration with your team, in an environment that demonstrates every day that at Canam, we are a solid blend of performance and kindness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in functional or business analysis, specifically in a BI, data warehouse, or Big Data ecosystem context
• Proficiency in SQL language to query, analyze, and profile data autonomously
• Experience with a visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik)
• Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum framework (and ideally with ticket management tools like Jira)
• Proficiency in spoken and written English because you will interact with English-speaking colleagues
