Delivery Driver

We are looking for a person who wants to seize new exciting opportunities as a Delivery Driver for our growing team in Baie St-Paul, QC. The selected person will be dynamic, customer-focused, self-motivated, and have experience in the automotive parts sector.

Your daily contribution and impact

• Prepare orders, starting from the transport ticket, and meet delivery deadlines unless constrained by the dispatcher
• Validate merchandise and ensure quality and accuracy before accepting delivery, examine merchandise with customers before receipt
• Plan daily pickups of cores, returns, and warranties for customers without disrupting the delivery service
• Comply with electronic delivery principles and standards
• Accurately record all deliveries and pickups performed and ensure that appropriate documents accompany all pickups, returns, and warranties
• Ensure that customer complaints and dissatisfaction are reported quickly to the dispatcher and/or store manager
• Check vehicle liquid levels, tire condition, and ensure interior and exterior cleanliness daily
• Adopt safe driving practices and follow traffic laws at all times
• Participate in cyclic account programs and annual store inventory
• May be called upon to participate in store customer service activities, assist in maintaining store cleanliness, and stock products

Essential expertise and skills

• No experience required
• Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Have high interpersonal skills to develop and maintain work relationships
• Be able to lift pieces weighing up to 50 lbs
