Co-Director and Entrepreneurship Advisor

Permanent position at the Côte-de-Beaupré service point 30 hours/week | Flexible schedule over 4 days

Microcrédit Charlevoix is a non-profit organization that puts the community and the human being at the heart of its actions. Its mission is to contribute to the economic and social development of the MRCs of Charlevoix, Charlevoix-Est, and Côte-de-Beaupré by offering entrepreneurs proximity support, business startup workshops, and accessible financial support, particularly for individuals with limited access to conventional financing.

We are looking for an autonomous and engaged person to join our co-direction team. In this role, you will support entrepreneurs in achieving their project, participate in the analysis of financing requests, and contribute to the development and visibility of the organization, within a team that values trust, collaboration, and shared responsibility.

Your main responsibilities

• Support entrepreneurs at various stages of starting or developing their business.
• Contribute to the development of entrepreneurial projects by animating workshops, analyzing financing requests, and preparing loan applications.
• Actively participate in the management and development of the organization, in collaboration with the co-direction team, particularly in human resources, finance, administration, communications, and financial reporting.
• Contribute to the visibility of Microcrédit Charlevoix by representing the organization to partners and participating in strategic decisions in a spirit of co-management and shared responsibility.

• Knows how to support, advise, and mobilize people with diverse backgrounds
• Demonstrates analysis, rigor, autonomy, and judgment
• Is organized and capable of managing multiple files simultaneously
• Appreciates collaborative work and wishes to evolve in a co-direction mode
• Adapts easily to an evolving environment
• Is comfortable animating groups and representing the organization to various partners

What you bring

• A university degree in a relevant field or a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
• Experience in entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship support, economic development, or a similar advisory role
• Good knowledge of business startup, business plan writing, financial planning, and project analysis
• Experience in group animation
• Excellent mastery of French, Google Workspace, and Excel
• A valid driver's license
• Availability to participate in the weekly team meeting in Baie-Saint-Paul and to make occasional trips to the territories of Charlevoix and Côte-de-Beaupré
• Knowledge of the local economic development field (an asset)

What we offer

• An annual salary between $59,400 and $69,900, depending on your experience
• A permanent position of 30 hours per week spread over four days
• A flexible schedule combining remote work and in-person work
• Minimum four weeks of vacation per year, including two during the holidays
