  • Manage the complete groups assigned, collecting, validating, and communicating all event-related information (accommodation, meeting rooms, audiovisual, catering, technical needs, exhibitions, room lists, etc.), and preparing and distributing operational documents accurately to clients and departments.
  • Coordinate the execution of events by leading pre-congress meetings, confirming meal guarantees and all changes, and ensuring proactive communication between clients and teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure rigorous administrative follow-up by preparing and updating contracts, purchase orders, group summaries, schedules, and other required documents, while adhering to internal procedures, contractual obligations, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Optimize the profitability of events by maximizing the use of meeting spaces and rooms, ensuring efficient cost management, revenue and expense forecasting (accommodation, food and beverages), and promoting incentive sales and strategic recommendations.
  • Act as an ambassador for the hotel and brand by embodying the standards of luxury hospitality, offering refined and personalized service, maintaining privileged relationships with clients, proposing innovative ideas, and ensuring that every event reflects the excellence, prestige, and quality that distinguish the establishment.

Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in congress and banquet management, along with hospitality management training or a university degree in a relevant field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English to easily understand and discuss with an international clientele.
  • Demonstrate excellent understanding of the hospitality sector, market trends, and catering operations.
  • Master the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as Opera Cloud (OSEM and Property Manager), or a comparable hotel management system.
  • Demonstrate excellent event and congress planning and coordination skills, rigorous timeline management, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Show leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, a strong sense of initiative and creativity. Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, the ability to work autonomously, and to foster collaboration and teamwork.
  • Maintain a positive and solution-oriented attitude in a constantly evolving environment. Show great flexibility and be available to work on a variable schedule, including weekends and day and evening shifts.
