• Working Hours: 7 7 Day/Night (84 hrs / 2 weeks)

Your Role at a Glance

Under the supervision of the captain or superintendent, the Underground Foreman is responsible for managing the human resources and operations of his team. He ensures the effective distribution of tasks, monitoring of material and budgetary resources, and achieving production goals. He also plays a crucial role in evaluating, developing, and mentoring team members.

What You Can Expect

• Plan, organize, and distribute team tasks while monitoring progress and achieving production goals
• Supervise underground mining operations in the mining zones
• Train, motivate, and mentor team members to maximize results
• Ensure team safety by monitoring the work environment and applying appropriate preventive measures
• Promote a safety and environmental respect culture by setting an example
• Collaborate with senior management and other supervisors to achieve the mine's global objectives
• Maintain effective communication between management and team members
• Actively participate in personnel development through mentoring and coaching
• Perform all other tasks related to your functions

What Makes You the Ideal Candidate

• DEP in mineral extraction or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in personnel management in the mining sector
• Valid general explosives permit
• Completed FMTM modules (1 to 7)
