Reporting to the Chief of Legal Affairs, Human Resources, and Administration, the Legal and Compliance Manager will provide support for a wide range of legal, compliance, and governance matters relevant to the group. This concrete and versatile role is for a person capable of working autonomously on complex matters while actively contributing to the work of a highly performing small corporate team. Depending on the profile and interests of the selected person, they may also assume responsibilities related to insurance, risk management, and ESG issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Support legal and compliance functions in a wide range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
- Contribute to risk management initiatives, including liaison with brokers and insurers regarding insurance coverage and claims
- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance programs and policies
- Support the company's initiatives in reporting, disclosure, and ESG governance
- Participate in corporate governance matters
- Collaborate with business units and other corporate functions of the organization
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a legal or compliance role, or a similar role, within a large multinational organization
- Strong understanding of corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues
- Experience as a legal technician is an asset
- Knowledge of insurance, risk management, and/or ESG issues is an asset
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Autonomy, sense of priorities, and ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent matters
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively, both autonomously and in a team
- Bilingualism in French-English is an asset
