Responsibilities
- Assist the senior maintenance coordinator in managing the plant to ensure the highest standards in safety, environment, personnel, plant efficiency, equipment availability and reliability, and product quality;
- Supervise and support coordinators and planners to optimize work execution, achieve departmental key performance indicators (KPIs), and deploy necessary action plans to eliminate performance gaps;
- Plan and schedule, with the coordinators and planners under your supervision, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, as well as project implementation, to ensure effective asset management and maximize equipment availability, reliability, performance, and lifespan;
- Ensure the integrity and quality of SAP data related to maintenance, planning, and reliability by validating information and monitoring performance indicators;
- Ensure the application of asset reliability management principles and processes (ARMP) by maintaining a strong link between planning, work execution, and equipment performance objectives;
- Implement and promote best practices in planning, scheduling, and executing work, as well as failure analysis processes, to improve intervention efficiency, eliminate recurring breakdown causes, and increase equipment reliability;
- Recommend maintenance priorities based on risks, equipment criticality, and operational needs to maximize plant availability and reliability;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and health, safety, and environmental procedures, and actively participate in the safety committee;
- Support maintenance coordinators in finding the best work methods, diagnostics, and work execution, review with them various aspects related to health and safety, and scheduling discrepancies;
- Work closely with planning, operations, and technical services to achieve targeted reliability objectives;
- Act as a resource person in complex situations related to health and safety, labor relations, overtime management, and operational communications;
- As needed, replace maintenance coordinators or the senior maintenance coordinator to maintain operational continuity and achieve departmental objectives.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of significant experience in the manufacturing sector, ideally in a technical or industrial environment;
- A college diploma in electrical engineering, electromechanical engineering, mechanical engineering, or any other relevant field;
- Mastery of production equipment technologies and their specifications;
- Knowledge of production management, planning, and control methods, as well as raw material management;
- Ability to effectively manage time and priorities in a dynamic environment;
- Ability to plan, analyze, and organize processes to optimize them;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, natural leadership, and ability to work autonomously;
- Proficiency in computer tools, including SAP and Microsoft Office suite;
- Prioritize health and safety by promoting good practices and integrating ArcelorMittal's 10 Golden Rules into daily work;
- Good command of English to interact with our out-of-Provence clients and suppliers, particularly in Ontario and the United States.
