Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and control daily activities related to preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment and associated components within your sector.
  • Ensure continuous and safe maintenance and repair activities.
  • Manage personnel and productivity to meet specific work execution requirements and standards for repair and preventive maintenance.
  • Supervise maintenance work, assign labor, and communicate necessary instructions to ensure smooth operations, while ensuring rapid restart of equipment.
  • Actively participate in anomaly analyses and implementation of corrective measures.
  • Compile performance metrics and inform relevant parties of any anomalies affecting production facilities or equipment.
  • Use existing technologies to track performance indicators and conduct research and inspections.
  • Ensure management of parts and departmental stores.
  • Manage and track the department's daily budget.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
  • Participate in the implementation of improvement projects within your sector.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy work environment.

Requirements

  • Hold a college diploma in industrial electronics or an electrical engineering diploma.
  • Be a member of the OIQ (an asset).
  • Have a minimum of five years of experience as a maintenance supervisor in the electrical field within a manufacturing environment.
  • Be organized, autonomous, and resourceful.
  • Have a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Have experience working in a unionized environment (an asset).
  • Be familiar with maintenance management software; experience with SAP software is an asset.
