Adfast is currently seeking a Machinist!

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Director, the Machinist is responsible for creating, manufacturing, dismantling, reassembling, restoring, and installing maintenance parts, as well as performing preventive maintenance on equipment.

Working Conditions: Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, Day shift, In-person.

Status: Permanent

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and manufacture of new maintenance parts (R&D)
• Dismantle, reassemble, and restore maintenance equipment parts
• Perform mechanical preventive maintenance on machines
• Follow safety measures imposed by OHS managers
• Maintain quality standards in accordance with ISO requirements
• Conventional machinery
• Other related tasks

Requirements

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in machining technology
• Be autonomous in conventional machining
• Experience in the manufacturing field (an asset)

• Ability to operate various tools and machines (lathes, milling machines, surface, and cylindrical grinding machines)
