Soccer Outaouais - Competition & Events Manager

Deadline for submission: August 15, 2026 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and organize the regional Soccer Outaouais competitions;
• Monitor competition schedules, regulations, results, standings, and operational issues;
• Coordinate communications with clubs, teams, partners, and other stakeholders;
• Supervise and mentor contractors involved in competition-related projects, youth, senior categories, events, and communication;
• Organize tournaments and Soccer Outaouais events;
• Plan logistical arrangements for events: schedules, fields, material needs, field coordination, team reception, and operational follow-up;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and procedures related to competitions and events;
• Guide and coordinate Soccer Outaouais' communication strategy;
• Ensure the consistency of messages communicated by the organization, without necessarily being responsible for the daily production of publications;
• Collaborate closely with the executive team, member clubs, partners, and internal resources.

REQUIREMENTS AND ASSETS

• Diploma in event management and project management or demonstrate similar experience;
• Experience in managing competitions, sports events, or projects;
• Good knowledge of the soccer or amateur sports environment;
• Experience in team coordination or resource supervision;
• Excellent written and spoken French;
• Good ability to use digital management, communication, and planning tools;
• Bilingual French/English considered an asset;
• Occasional availability on evenings and weekends according to activities, competitions, and events.
