Job Overview

Student Position – 15 hours per week – Weekend Hours

As an Animal Care Technician for our breeding site located in St-Constant, you will be responsible for the well-being of our research animals. Your success will ensure the health of our animals.

In this position, the main responsibilities will include:

• Ensure the cleanliness of the animal living environment according to the highest industry standards for animal well-being (cleaning animal rooms as well as cages);
• Handle animals with care;
• Participate in the physical/social activities of the animals.
• If you possess the following qualifications, we will train you for the rest:
• At least completed high school;
• Physically fit to work (able to lift up to 20-25kg, walk, stand, crouch, etc.);
• Good team spirit;
• Passion for animals.

Specific Job Information

• Location: 324 Rang St-Régis Nord, St-Constant, QC, J5A 2E7;
• Transportation: Free parking;
• Salary: $18/hour;

• Schedule: Every Saturday and
• Sunday between 6:00
• AM and 2:15 PM;
• Part-time position, 15 hours per week – 40 hours per week during the summer period which includes weekends.
