Description

Build the Processes. Lead the Team. Shape the Future.

Our aerospace manufacturing operation is entering an exciting phase of growth. While the foundation is already in place, we're looking for a hands-on leader who will help strengthen our operations by establishing efficient processes, supporting production planning, and leading the day-to-day execution of our manufacturing activities.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping how our manufacturing team operates today while helping prepare it for tomorrow.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise the daily activities of the manufacturing team to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
  • Develop and implement standardized manufacturing processes, workflows, and work instructions to support operational excellence.
  • Assist with production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet customer commitments.
  • Coordinate daily priorities with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure efficient execution.
  • Monitor production activities, identify operational challenges, and implement practical solutions to keep work moving.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day supervision of manufacturing employees while fostering a respectful, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Track operational performance and provide regular updates and recommendations to the Operations Manager.
  • Relentless drive for delivering results on time.

What You'll Bring

  • College diploma or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Aerospace manufacturing experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience developing or implementing manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures, and production workflows.
  • Good understanding of production planning, scheduling, and shop floor operations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across departments.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a growing environment where initiative is valued.
  • Bilingual in French and English*, both spoken and written.

** The position requires excellent written and spoken English skills. The role involves reading and understanding technical documents in English on a daily basis, particularly from international companies, as well as regular communication with clients, suppliers, and other international stakeholders.*

What Will Make You Successful

  • You enjoy building structure and bringing organization to growing operations.
  • You take ownership, act with urgency, and don't wait to be told what needs to be done.
  • You're a visible leader who earns trust by being present on the production floor.
  • You balance operational priorities with planning and execution.
  • You're adaptable, resourceful, and motivated by achieving results through teamwork.
  • Why Join Us?

This is more than a supervisory position—it's an opportunity to help shape the future of our aerospace manufacturing operations. You'll work alongside an experienced leadership team, influence how the department grows, and make a lasting impact in an organization that values initiative, collaboration, and operational excellence.
