Located in Drummondville, PPD Foam Solutions specializes in molding and manufacturing a wide range of seats and unique polyurethane products for various sectors, including motorized sports, as well as industrial, agricultural, medical, and marine domains.

The Production Engineering Project Manager acts as a technical and strategic leader in optimizing operations. He/she drives major initiatives for continuous improvement and cost reduction, aligned with business objectives, while influencing practices at both local and international levels.

This role will allow you to play a key role in the operational transformation of the organization, lead high-impact financial projects, and directly contribute to the company's growth and competitiveness, including in an international context.

In the course of your employment, you will contribute to

  • Lead strategic continuous improvement projects generating measurable gains in performance, quality, and costs
  • Proactively identify cost optimization levers (processes, design, supply chain, maintenance)
  • Quantify and track the financial gains of implemented initiatives
  • Prioritize projects based on their added value and return on investment (ROI)
  • Coach and influence teams in adopting Lean and operational excellence best practices
  • Act as a change agent in the transformation of manufacturing practices
  • Ensure alignment of initiatives with the company's strategic objectives
  • Support international operations in optimizing processes and costs

You recognize yourself in the following

  • B.A.C. in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • Possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position
  • Master the MS Office suite
  • Knowledge of Autocad (an asset)
  • Excellent knowledge of Lean tools
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in manufacturing companies
  • Experience in managing multiple projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French and English) Spanish is an asset
  • + Intermediate level;
  • + A proportion of our divisions are located outside Quebec;
  • + The use of this second language is on an occasional basis;
