The L’Artisan residence is currently looking for a Part-time Kitchen Assistant to join its team.
As a Kitchen Assistant in the residence, you will play an essential role in the well-being and quality of life of the residents.

Your responsibilities
- Prepare and cut food (fruits, vegetables, meats, soups, desserts) according to standards.
- Participate in cooking and assembling meals according to instructions.
- Prepare light meals (sandwiches, snacks) according to needs.
- Serve meals at the counter and distribute them to the floors.
- Ensure the cleanliness of equipment and the workstation according to hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Receive and check deliveries, store orders, and participate in inventory.
- Perform any other related tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Desired profile
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in culinary arts, an asset;
- Experience in culinary arts, an asset;
- Team spirit and communication skills;
- Sense of organization and time management;
- Good time management and efficient organization;
- Be autonomous, punctual, and able to work in a team;
- Ability to work standing for long hours and perform physical tasks.
Employment conditions
- Part-time position.
- Schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Two days per week, with one weekend day required.
- Salary of $17.33 per hour.
