Santé Valeo includes six (6) senior residences (RPA) and intermediate care resources (RI) spread across five (5) administrative regions of Quebec. With over 500 employees and nearly 1000 housing units, Santé Valeo continues to provide its residents with more access to quality, innovative, and respectful care.

We are looking for an engaged, attentive, and deeply human caregiver to contribute to the well-being and dignity of our residents.

At Résidence l'Artisan, you will work in a human-centered environment where respect, collaboration, and a stable work pace allow you to accompany residents with professionalism, heart, and dignity.

Situated near the Hôpital de Saint-Eustache, L'Artisan is an intermediate care resource (RI) in partnership with the CISSS des Laurentides. We welcome a clientele of seniors with loss of autonomy presenting physical or cognitive needs requiring structured care and rigorous clinical follow-up.

Your responsibilities

• Provide hygiene and continuous assistance to residents in the accomplishment of daily living and domestic activities (toileting, dressing, feeding, mobility, hygiene, etc.), taking into account each person's level of autonomy and the need for moderate to heavy assistance.
• Administer medications.
• Observe the health status of residents and report any relevant information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in the maintenance of living spaces and ensure the comfort of residents.
• Encourage residents' autonomy and create a stimulating and secure environment.
• Maintain respectful relationships with families, visitors, and volunteers.
• Desired profile:

We are looking for a passionate, warm person who loves taking care of residents and has a developed sense of empathy. Additionally, we prioritize the following recognized training:

• DEP in person assistance in a healthcare facility.
• DEP in person assistance at home.
• Health aide and social services.
• AEP in person assistance in a healthcare facility.

However, in the absence of recognized training, relevant and significant experience with a clientele with loss of autonomy may be considered.

We also require

• PDSB and RCR training.
• Experience in a residence or CHSLD (an asset).
• Experience with a clientele with cognitive impairments.
• Mastery of oral and written French.

Employment conditions

• Open to any availability: 4/14, 7/15, 10/15
• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Evening shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Night shift: 1:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• One weekend every two weeks
• Salary 24.13 to 25.13$/hour including bonuses.
