Maintenance Worker

L’Artisan is a private residence that is part of the Groupe Santé Valeo. As an intermediate resource, it meets the needs of elderly people who are losing physical or cognitive autonomy, who require support, assistance, and care in their daily lives.

The L’Artisan residence is looking for a maintenance worker to join its team!

Your responsibilities

• Perform all interior and exterior household tasks, including cleaning windows, walls, ceilings, and common areas.
• Maintain the outdoor areas: shovel sidewalks, apply salt, and ensure the safety of access.
• Prioritize teamwork and provide support to residents as needed, particularly for services, transportation, and moving.
• Perform various minor repairs in the apartments and common areas (painting, basic plumbing, light carpentry, simple electricity).
• Collaborate with the residence team to ensure the continuity and quality of services to residents.
• Perform any other related tasks aimed at maintaining the proper functioning and safety of the premises.

Desired profile

• Relevant experience in maintenance or maintenance.
• Autonomy, diligence, and sense of organization.
• Positive attitude and respectful approach towards residents.
• Ability to adapt to unexpected situations and manage emergency situations.
• Reliability, diligence, and punctuality.
• Good spoken French.

Employment conditions

• Day shift, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Hourly wage of $18.66.
• Unionized position.
