As a Personal Finance Advisor at Caisse Desjardins des Grandes-Cultures-du-Lac, you are responsible for developing and maintaining a trust-based business relationship with members and clients to ensure their satisfaction. Your role involves listening to the needs of members and clients, providing tailored financial advice, and guiding them in choosing appropriate solutions to achieve their financial goals. You handle the financing needs of affluent clientele, consisting of individual members and businesses. Mastery of interpersonal relationships is therefore an essential skill. You propose financing and protection offers, leveraging your ability to achieve results. You act as an expert and resource in financing. You ensure the transversality of financing and proceed with credit authorization according to established rules. Your expertise allows you to maintain consistency between member and client satisfaction, business objectives, sound and prudent risk management, and profitability. You maintain collaborations with various partners and experts to propose integrated strategies in response to the needs of members and clients. More specifically, you will be involved in:
- Advising members and clients on the best strategies and determining the desired results with them.
- Acting as the business relationship manager, evaluating member and client satisfaction and service quality, ensuring follow-ups, and recommending required improvements.
- Staying informed about financial news, market trends, and best practices in your field.
- Performing various representation activities and participating in the caisse's presence in the community.

What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
- At least one year of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
- Certificate of Representative in Collective Savings – Autorité des marchés financiers
- Knowledge of French is required
- Knowledge of financial, economic, political, and legislative news
- Specialized knowledge in tax, financial, and succession matters for individual members and businesses
- Knowledge of all products and services intended for Caisse members and those offered by Desjardins Entreprises centers, components, and distribution networks, as well as those of the competition
- Knowledge in debt management
- Knowledge and understanding of compliance with laws on the distribution of financial products and services
- Knowledge of the philosophy and functioning of a financial services cooperative
- Knowledge of policies, legislation, and standards related to products and services offered by the Caisse
- Knowledge of the Desjardins business process and service standards
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, including one evening per week
