As a Member and Client Experience Advisor at Desjardins Five-Counties Credit Union, you will strive to enhance the experience of our members and clients and ensure their satisfaction. This involves, among other things, your welcoming demeanor, your listening skills, the handling of their needs, and your guidance in managing their financial autonomy. Through this guidance, you will promote the cooperative values of Desjardins. You will accompany members and clients and offer them advice for their banking transactions. You will promote all Desjardins products and services as well as the various distribution channels available. You will be attentive to their needs in order to offer them adapted solutions. You will identify business opportunities and direct members and clients to your colleagues for specialized service needs. You will be a proud ambassador of digital solutions and offer advice to members and clients on the use of these solutions. You will ensure the smooth running of their financial transactions, while also handling problem resolution, if necessary. You will emphasize information and guidance on the use of technological tools, while incorporating prevention and security advice. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Accompany members and clients in their operations and transactions, identifying opportunities to inform them of existing applications and technological tools, enabling them to be more autonomous in these activities.
- Contribute to business development and relationship maintenance through service delivery and activities.
- Accompany members and clients who have suffered fraud or irregularities and ensure they are directed to designated partners.
- Stay informed of new developments related to standards, products, or services in your field of activity.
- Comply with compliance, security, and risk management rules.

What you will bring to the table
- High school diploma (DES)
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Knowledge of all Desjardins products and services related to current and savings accounts.
- Knowledge of all Desjardins products and services for Caisse members and those offered by Desjardins Business Centres, components, distribution networks/channels, and competitors.
- Knowledge of data integration into systems.
- Knowledge of security measures, legal framework, and internal control.
- Knowledge of the philosophy and operation of a financial services cooperative.
- Knowledge of operational procedures related to savings products and automated and assisted transactions.
- Knowledge of service standards.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, including one evening until 6 PM
- Possibility of working up to 35 hours per week
