What will you contribute to the team?

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation (forklift, mules, truck)
• Operate a forklift to move materials required for operational activities
• Operate a bridge crane to move aircraft components
• Move aircraft internally or externally, including on airport grounds
• Drive a heavy vehicle, 26'/33,000 lb, 6 or 10 wheels
• Transport hazardous materials and high-value aeronautical parts
• Lift, push/pull weights of +/- 20kg (may vary)
• Work as a team, communicate, and support other drivers as needed
• Perform mandatory inspection rounds and maintain a light log (heavy vehicle)
• Required to follow mandatory in-class and online training

How to thrive in this role? Required skills, knowledge, and experience

• Have a high school diploma or higher
• Have a valid CVL Class 1 or 3 license (heavy vehicle driving) and two years of experience
• Have a SAAQ driving record and a heavy vehicle driver behavior monitoring file
• Relevant experience in transporting Hazardous Materials is an asset
• Have completed a basic SIMDUT training (an asset)
• Have a Safe Driving Behavior, courteous, and exemplary
• Have the ability to make decisions without neglecting Health & Safety at Work aspects
• Be flexible and demonstrate good adaptability to unexpected or priority situations
