ElectroMechanical Technician

Under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor, the ElectroMechanical Technician will have the following tasks:

• Ensure the proper functioning of the electrical, electronic and mechanical systems of the plant;
• Test the components and systems of the electrical, electronic and mechanical systems;
• Repair electrical motor failures, connection equipment, etc. (troubleshooting);
• Perform maintenance of equipment in various departments;
• Program the various automated systems;
• Assemble and install various types of windings for motors or electrical transformers;
• Test, repair or replace defective wiring or components in the electrical connection equipment;
• Perform machining work to refurbish or modify shafts, switches or other parts;
• Prepare inspection lists for quality control and preventive maintenance;
• Write reports on the operation of the establishment.

Requirements

• DEP in electromechanical
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
• Knowledge in pneumatics and hydraulics
• Very good knowledge in mechanics and electricity
• Electricity License C - Asset
• Knowledge of the food industry - Asset

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to analyze troubleshooting and implement appropriate corrective measures
• Ability to test various systems (electrical, electronic and mechanical)
• Ability to intervene on power and motor control circuits
• Mastery of sanitary welding - Asset
