The Technical Maintenance Technician performs all tasks related to the maintenance and repair of the hotel's facilities. He or she contributes to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of the establishment's clientele through the quality of his or her work and his or her proactivity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regularly inspect the hotel to identify potential issues and determine the priority maintenance and repair tasks to be performed;
- Inform the team leader of any significant issues requiring intervention and propose an action plan;
- Ensure a quick response and close follow-up of intervention requests made by the clientele and other departments of the establishment;
- Perform necessary repairs appropriately and in a timely manner to minimize negative impacts on the clientele;
- Take necessary measures to effect a repair when it cannot be performed by the staff member;
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled by the hotel's management;
- Apply applicable health and safety regulations;
- Collaborate with other departments of the hotel to optimize the clientele's experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant training in building maintenance;
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in building maintenance;
- Autonomy and keen sense of responsibility;
- Attention to detail and meticulousness;
- Sense of organization and priority management;
- Proactivity in problem-solving;
- Good communication skills in French and English, both oral and written.
